August 22nd, 2008 by Tee

Vertu

While everyone finds themselves in the flurry of iPhones & Blackberry phones…
You tend to forget that there are indeed tons of luxury goods and the market…and some way some how - well….you never really quite hear about particular brands unless you are a luxury junkie! Now Vertu phones set the standard on all things luxurious! Just imagine owning a cellphone laced in all things exotic…what would you do? Admire it from afar….or if given the funds - would you buy it? Well while you wait - let me tell you that I am a tad bit curious to see a Vertu phone up close and personal. Seeing as though my fascination with this phone has resurfaced itself for the second time around. The newest models come from the new Rococo Constellation collection - which features four different colorways of exotic leathers. But wait! The flossy-flossy doesn’t stop there…..The Vertu Rococo Sapphire phone contains 9 glistening blue sapphires! Yes…you’ve read right! SAPPHIRES! The collection in itself is interesting as each phone is built strictly for hedge fund candidates.

AG Limited Editions: By Alessandra Gucci

July 21st, 2008 by Tee

Ahhh…wouldn’t it be nice to have the surname Gucci under your belt? While that may seem cool to those who weren’t born with the trademark name, Alessandra Gucci decided to step things up a notch by bringing forth a collection of luxury handbag dubbed AG Limited Editions. Stepping away from the Gucci umbrella, Alessandra created a line of classic chic exotic alligator bags, that infuse a sophisticated stance on handbags to date. Each style is adorned in a splash of colorful Swarovski crystals, and is handmade in Milan. The AG Limited Editions come in three colors such as; pink, blue, and multi hued [also known as jungle]. While alligator skins reacts to dye in an unexpected manner, each piece is will have it’s own unique appearance…no look will be the same. Alessandra states the wholesale prices for these limited edition bags are set at a whopping $6,665 - $10,134. The range will feature a collection of only 99 handbags. Currently the AG Limited Editions are being sold through Paris-based 10 Vendôme.

Is it me…are you guys stuck on the wholesale prices as much as I am?

Purple Reign..

July 16th, 2008 by Tee

Who can resist the color?
Would you believe that the color itself is associated with royalty & nobility? And while I laugh at the notion of even being related with anything royal…I embrace the lush vibrant hues that come with this seasons “Purple Reign”. Be on the look out for your favorite luxury brands to bring fourth a collection of deep purple line of accessories - which will go great for almost any time other that in the summer. So for Chanel has the “one-up” with a touch of that “Coco Cure”…oh and please be reminded of the staggering price tag….ah hem!

Think XX-Large

July 11th, 2008 by Tee

I’d like take a moment to toot my own horn on this on topic….THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
Why? It’s because I am a avid admirer of large hobo-styled handbags…there is something about the extra room of a hobo handbag that has become some what my security blanket. Even my closest peers have told me to break the bond that I share with my ‘kitchen sink’ sized pieces of arm candy. Anyway, it seems as though I am not the only who shares my love for everything big! Plenty of our favorite celebutants have been seen flocking towards everything “BIG”..minus the hair! And with that said I would like to bestow a nice tattooed middle finger to those who go by what ‘nay saying’ trend forecasters think whom shit behind a Vogue desk. Go with what works best for you….even if it will cost you a heart pounding $4,060!

You Too Can Work The Runway…

July 2nd, 2008 by Tee

Most women day dream about making their first Hermes purchase….not knowing what comes with the name! Hence a price tag that usually looks like a serial number - even still the allure of Hermes still captures fashion junkies like a bag of dope. Pardon me….but it’s true! And there are some who beg to differ - turning their noses up at the idea of even splurging their hard earned money on anything from the ‘house’ revamped by Jean Paul Gaultier. This Fall’s collection of Hermes handbags features a more updated & modern style of handbags that are very interesting to take full view of, such as their So Kelly 22 Evercalf - which is reminiscent of a LV Epi Noe if you ask me. And The Hermes Jypsiere 37 Clemence Taurillon which features the same characteristics of a Birkin….and yet still features a Birkin-styled price tag.

April 6th, 2008 by Tee

Earlier this month Hong Kong unveiled it’s largest Louis Vuitton flagship store to the public. Italian artist, Fabrizio Plessi who so happens to be one of the pioneers of video art in europe - helped to give Louis Vuitton’s largest boutique outside of Paris it’s captivating vision. Huge LED screens adorn Hong Kong’s Louis Vuitton store - which feature molten gold which cascades along side golden fixtures & walls. Plessi collaborated with Louis Vuitton to create a digital handbag, done up in black epi leather, and adorned with an LCD screen showing images of molten gold through a cutout LV logo which is featured on the front of the bag. Only 88 epi Plessi shoppers were created just for the Hong Kong’s Canton Road location…..Oh and the price is at a jaw-dropping $50,000!

Bag Hag Nine - WON WON

March 2nd, 2008 by Tee

You can have to worse outfit possible…..
I am talking about the type of outfit with no finesse no….”za-zoo”
And sport a handbag that will totally take that drab outfit….and upgrade it to a “powerhouse” ensemble. Let’s face it….we live in a materialistic world! Where you can sport a T-shirt with deodorant stains emblazoned on that sides & have a “thousand-dollar-plus” handbag in arm, and everyone will fall victim to your presence. Trust me…I’ve have seen this first hand, and almost gagged on my own vomit! There is something about the “ultimate handbag” that sends your senses into the stratosphere and leave you lethargic - I know this, simply because I am just one of those people. Let’s be honest… I am not ashamed to say that I am one to literally “break my neck” in the midst of on coming traffic….so can you imagine what I would do if I seen this Luella python shopper floating around town? Yeah you’ve guessed it……call the ambulance!
