A Closer Look At The Newly Renovated Colette Store

Colette finally opened their curtains today…
The newly revamped interior gave way to eagerly wait Colette shoppers this morning, the month long project was conceived by Japanese Interior designer Masamichi Katayama also known as Wonderwall. Colette’s new setting centers around graphic interplay of white walls, steel, glass & sensual black leather merchandising displays & tables. Sara Lerefel [Colette’s artistic director] tells WWD - that she sees it [the renovation] more as a facelift rather than a radical departure from Colette’s original look.
And while many of us who reside in NYC loath that fact that we can’t bask in the glory of the newly revamped Colette store…..we can only gawk & drool at the images to come.
