LONGCHAMPLIMITEDEDTMAIN-1 Longchamp x Jean-Luc Moeran

Would you believe that Longchamp is only one of a handful of luxury companies that are still family-run? You’d better believe it….after 60 years in the game - Longchamp is still going on strong. In preparation for their 60 year anniversary Longchamp has collaborated with Belgian artist Jean-Luc Moeran, who is known for his tattoo-like rendering of shapes on photographs of iconic celebrities such as Marilyn Monroe & Madonna. Moerman put his craft to the test by emblazoning his trademark signature on 60 Lonchamp handbags. Each bag will be different from others. Moerman silk-screened individual bags with original designs will sold for $6,500. A set of reproduction Longchamp bags will be sold separately. Jean-Luc Moeran’s installation work will be on display at Longchamp’s anniversary bash July 2nd at the L’Elysée Montmartre in Paris. But the fun doesn’t stop there…Longchamp will be hosting another anniversary celebration July 14th at the NYC Soho Flagship location.
