Aside from splurging on summer dresses…I am in dire need of blouses for the summer. On Monday I dropped by Lexington Ave to pick up my best friend from work , when I noticed that she was wearing a beautiful cobalt blue sleeve-less blouse, paired along side a sandy brown pair of Capri-styled pants. Not only was it flattering on her ‘Beyoncesque’ frame…but it had me thinking about what is seriously lacking in my wardrobe. Let’s face it….I am a T-shirt & jeans kind of girl. And well blouses are definitely missing in my closet. Naturally I take it to the web for my daily shopping excursions. I can’t front…..running into a local retail stores have become some what of a real hassle in my realm. Considering that the fitting room lines tend to get a tad bit out of hand. And well I just don’t feel like peeling off all of my clothing just to try on my my potential purchase. Oh snap… will someone please tell me why is it that fitting room mirrors reveal of your physical imperfections? I don’t know if it has to do with the lighting….or what - but I’ve noticed that those mirrors really have women standing in those 8′ x 8′ foot cubicles more that the designated time allowed to try something on. Anyway, I’ve fallen head over heels in love with NYC Boutique’s Heavenly Blouse - and that it truly is! This blouse is definitely on my “ready-to-wear” radar…not only is it perfect for daytime wear, but you can sport it around during the night time also…which is great for those spur of the moment “ time to hit the local club” episodes. I am really considering copping this blouse….yet I’m still am undecided on what to wear underneath. Go figure…..the saga shall continue!
