Monday was definitely one of those “hot-ass” days in Manhattan….
Not even my upset stomach could keep me a way from finally meeting Claw Money who was gracious enough to take some time out of her hectic schedule to grant TrashBagAesthetics some personal time to ask her a few random Q & A’s thanks to the questions that you’ve send me via email. I was marveled by the amazingly funny & charming Claudia, who keeps it definitely real on all aspects of the industry. Claw, has a razor sharp tongue….as well as an eye for fashion! In the midst of her E.23rd Street Office, I had to chance to see Claw Money work the phones & well as her computer….manning the desk with pure ease & unabashed in every sense of the word. Claudia let me know that women’s street wear is a competitive game….where you definitely have to be on top of you have to be on top of your “A-Game”. Not to be afraid to take chances, and take it up a notch no matter what the Nay-Sayers…may feel or say! My meeting with Claw transformed itself from and interview…more into a natural conversation that you would normally have with let’s say….a girlfriend that you’ve known for a while.

While I sat down & continued profusely sweating like it was no ones business, Claw Money broke down her theme for this Fall’s upcoming collection - which is called “Everything I love is Illegal, Immoral & Fattening”. You’ve got to admit this woman is definitely creative! Her passion for sunglasses is self evident, seeing as though her entire office features Claw Money memorabilia…it some what looked like a mini shrine - for all of the years of hard work put into this industry thing! Claw also states that there will be many more sneakers to come in the near future ….so you gals definitely have to keep those eyes peeled! In her quest for total world domination, Claw let me know that she all of her irons in flame - preparing to set off 2008 with a total bang….you name it - this woman is doing it! From television shows, to skate boards, snow boards, snow boots, preparing to release a new book & vowing to keep her Claw Money brand independent …..Claw Money is definitely a force to be reckoned with!
