Pink Or Not To Pink…That Is The Question

Pink or to Pink….
That is the question this Wednesday! It seems as though our favorite [well my favorite] British import next to Amy Winehouse - Lily Allen has come under major fire for sporting “hot pink’ tresses at last night’s Glamour Women Of The year Awards in London.

“I dyed my hair pink this afternoon in my own bathroom.” - Lily Allen / Daily Mail

Alright….now you ladies already know that we have all been there at some point in time. Dying and frying the living mess out of our scalps. But I cant help but to yawn at the “pink” hair styles. I mean come on really - how many times have we seen this look throughout the years. Shoot…I will admit that in 1999 I took the notion a little bit to serious…and found myself rocking bright pink hair! Yup…I surely did - and while I did receive tons of compliments…and the normal stares and glares - at least I can jot down in my diary that I’ve actually seen my hair pink. As far as Allen goes….I think that she surely has the cute features to pull the entire look off - minus the bow of course! Now my question on this Wednesday is would you attempt the look? Whether it be a streak or two….or perhaps the entire head - is pink for you? Oh, and please don’t bring in the age game…..for real! I am sick and tired of hearing that it is time to grow up! So if you were given the opportunity to run around rampant across the New York City Tri-State area rocking all pink tresses would you do it or bypass on the entire idea of doing so?

And for those who are indeed interested in going pink - my best suggestion is to cop a nice jar of or Punky Color. Not only is it one of the best temporary dyes on the market, but it has been around for a while - not to mention the color lasts a lot longer & conditions over processed hair.

Lily looks adorable! I think its cool for a temporary night-on-the-town type of thing. As long as she doesn’t rock it on a full time basis. Then, it’ll be lame. And do you know what dress she’s wearing? I love it!
