The Italian authorities have stepped into the room….
It looks as though of fashionable duo are under investigation by Italian authorities following allegations of tax evasion. Milian’s public prosecutor Laura Pedo whi si the head of the case spoke to WWD yesterday, probing into alleged undeclared earning and value added tax “was at an early phase”, b ut declined to give WWD anymore details. This charge can crry up to a three-year prison term. La Repubblica [Italian news daily] reported on Sunday that Domenico Dolce & Stefano Gabbana have not been named in the investigation, but their fashion group could be held liable for more that $192 million dollars in unpaid taxes & fines.
