If you are already sick and “oh so tired” of hearing me stress about a “fresh tee”, then I suggest that you strap yourself in for another post in regards to them. It’s my method to my utter and complete madness…..and I think that I will be a 65 year old woman - sitting in my NYC apartment, adorned in a T-shirt of some type….with a lit Capri cigarette in hand. Everyone loves a “Plain Jane” with a touch of 5th avenue precision….and this is a known fact! Street wear has truly went through a series of remakes and remixes along the years, and many of our favorite couturiers are catching on to the trend. T-shirts have become a necessary commodity amongst many across the globe…a uniform standard - as I would like to say! So why is it that men have all of the wonderful T-shirts? It’s a sad but very true fact that men get full “air time’ on Über fresh threads….and well us women have to go through extreme measures to find a XS-S tees to fit our bodies. Well at least I do…..so what happens when my lust for luxury pieces binds itself with an undying lust for T-shirts? You receive an enormous headache that lasts you a life time…not to mention your conscience kicks in on overdrive - telling you NOT TO SPLURGE…..ummmm yeah right. Who are we kidding? There is nothing more lovely than toting your finest “arm candy”, a pair of figure flattering cotton denim, a pair of fly kicks…..and a T-shirt that shows off the mere fact that you are indeed 10 steps ahead of the pack…..ladies let them know what time it is!

It looks as though Wal-mart stores will be following suit on the “designer collaboration” bandwagon. In a deal with Cherokee Inc, Norma Kamali will create an exclusive collection for Wal-Mart stores. Collections will include women’s wear, children’s clothing, accessories, footwear, and home decor.


“My life dream has been to promote self-esteem for women and wellness for the entire family,” Kamali said. “Now I have the opportunity with Wal-Mart to create products that combine my design experiences with great value and innovative ideas to fulfill this dream. Today it has been announced that Target will be having another collaboration - and this time Zac Posen will be the next designer on the list. If you recall last March Target released a limited collection created by iconic designer Stella McCartney, who’s collection was stocked in 100 Target stores across Austrailia , and sadly had to be heavily discounted due to lack of sales. This time around Target will be stocking their shelves with a smaller collection, and the Zac Posen For Target collection will be only available in 75 of the 276 Target & Target Country stores. The Zac Posen For Target collection will be prices from $49.99 - 299.99 for a replica dress worn by Katherine Heigl wore to the Emmy Awards. In a major effort to “move & shake” Target junkies, the Zac Posen For Target collection will only feature 50 of the Katherine Heigl dresses available for purchase throughout Australia.
