What a day!!!! After such a relaxing weekend, you would think that I would already be back into the “loop”……WRONG!!!  I came back to the city in need of some additional sleep!!!!  Today’s ensemble pretty much showed me that I had to hurry back home!!!….[cracking up]….So here are the stats:

I spent the weekend relaxing in the Hamptons with my mother. I always manage to have tons of fun when I leave the city life…and head out into the country. Seriously, there isn’t anything like it!!! I was supposed to be back in the city yesterday….and well my plans fell short!!!  I was stranded on the other end of NYC…….so that meant shopping!!! You would be surprised as to how many thrift shops are hidden in Long Island!!! I stopped by one of my mother favorite spots only to walk out with the “ultimate find” for only $5 !!!!  I ended up finding a Hermes leather and gold hook bracelet……FOR ONLY $5 BUCKS!!! My mother and I were standing by a showcase filled with costume jewelry, and there it was….what looked like a piece of Hermes jewelry that I had seen before a long time ago!!!! It was until the thrift shop employee took the bracelet out of the showcase and handed it to me!!! As I looked at the bracelet [I had my fingers & toes crossed during all of this] there it was……HERMES - stamped on the outside of the bracelet!!! So I quickly asked “HOW MUCH IS IT?”, all I heard was FOUR DOLLARS AND NINETY NINE CENTS…from that moment on….I sat on cloud nine!!!!

Despite yesterday’s drenching rain, Angelina Jolie made her rounds around Hudson street.  This woman is absolutely stunning….even in the rain!!!

Only can Nicole Richie get away with using her Balenciaga Giant for a gym bag. Yesterday, the 5′, 1" starlet  was spotted running to her local gym!!! I looks like the celebrities are hitting the gym scene on a “hard” note!!! BTW……I am STILL looking for those Nike Air Max sneakers, which Richie so happens to be wearing [in the picture below]. They are VERY HARD TO FIND HERE in the city!!! If anyone has more info….please feel free to let me know

Leave it up to Dita Von Teese to arrive in style, toting the most adorable YSL “plaid downtown” bag ever.  Lilly Allen was spotted carrying the same  “downtown” bag recently, and I am in love with it!!! The beautiful burlesque dancer arrived in Melbourne yesterday, to attend Rosemount Australian  Fashion Week.

With Mother’s Day around the corner….I decided to do some snooping around eLUXURY, and naturally I end up in the Louis Vuitton section!!! Instead of looking at handbags, I ended up in the jewelry department!!! Would you believe that LVHM’s sales have gone up 7% in it’s first quarter??? Thanks to all of the celebrities sporting every LVHM product known to “woman” ……likewise we always find ourselves on the hunt for that “must -have” item of the moment. Anyway, I found myself looking at the Louis Vuitton Bubble Ring . It’s so very adorable……and in the same breath; it reminds me of the kind of jewelry you would find in a candy machine!!! Is it worth the purchase???…..hmmmmmm!!! Sure, if I can find it on ebay for a fraction of the price!!!
